The people of Newcastle (GEORDIES) are always looking on the bright side of nearly every possible situation. Its very cold, its just starting to rain, and there is a wind blowing...does this cafe really think people will want to sit outside today ?! Posted by Picasa

Very funny. With the right mountain equipment it's just about bearable.

that's funny :) still i am amazed in brussels, if there's no rain, there will always be someone crazy enough to sit outside!

Same in SF as in Brussels it seems. The tables and chairs make the place "inviting", maybe that's why they're there even if no-one is going to use them.

Maybe if they served Irish Coffee they would get some takers. Great photo. Also, thank you for your help.

It seems as geordies can't take the cold weather... :-)

Norwegians obviously doesn't care too much about the cold weather and the snow.

LOL! I do find this highly amusing. Here in the remoter areas of the north of Tenerife, there are hardly any cafes that have outside seating, because it is SO much colder (it can drop below 20 degrees centigrade) than in the resorts.
