Blue Carpet ..part 2.

Back to the BLUE CARPET for todays pic. This is one of a handful of public seats. The answer to yesterdays quiz was that the car park was used in the cult 1971 film "Get Carter". Go here to see stills from the film including the SCENE FROM THE CAR PARK.
A few got it but 'P' was first.Go and see his hilarious blogPosted by Picasa

I had to look for a minute to see how it works; very cool seat!
Is that blue tile underneath?
(and looking back over the other photos, I didn't realize Newcastle was such a big city!)
Love your other photo blog too -

Cool public seat! How creative this is!!
As far as P. blog, this is highly creative, stuffed with funny things to read and watch. I particularly like the Muppet-Matrix. Good one ;) Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the credit.... ;)

Had to watch Get Carter again last night after your pic reminded me of it..... From the very first 'is there a mister Carter in the room?' it's a classic!!!
Strange watching it now though and seeing how Newcastle used to be - have been about 10 years now (still visit like) and so much has changed AGAIN!!! Thanks for keeping me up to date with your blog.

PS - Damn Liverpool...! :(
